Seriously, what is cooler than riding on the back of a dinosaur and bustin caps!
Turok the Dinosaur Hunter would make a great movie, and it is coming direct to DVD.

Imagine a John Woo double fisted ballistic shoot-out between humans and dinosaurs without the limit of a SF buget…

It’s funny I write this stuff as if it is real and not a comic book based movie.

With this being the first week of school there may not be a webcomic update today, so just to be safe I present:

It has been reported by Rich Johnston at CBR that Morgan Freeman will attend a funeral where he is not wearing a suit, instead his picture is wearing a fancy frame.

If you don’t want to read my babble, just watch the movie – trust me it is worth it.
One of the greatest comic book events ever was the Death of Superman in 1993. What was seen as a marketing gimmick lead the way to the greatest Superman stories of all time: The World Without a Superman and The Return of Superman.
The death may have been a way to boost sales, but looking at a world that was used to having a Godlike savior cope without him is pure genius! These comic books gave me the appreciation for a hero, for what a hero should be, and made me realize that too many people in todays world have no clue as to what a hero truly is. The World Without a Superman and the connected stories are closely treasured by me, on on my birthday these stories will become what looks to be a great animated movie.
Maybe not my hometown, but one town over less than 10 minutes away.
Maybe not the Optimus Prime you are thinking about, not the one from the ’80s cartoon or this summer’s movie… its some dude.
Some dude actually changed his name to Optimus Prime. Not some fat thirty-something fanboy who still lives in his mother’s basement. No this dude is in the frickin military and married with kids, not what most would expect.
It all started in the ’80s, when Scott Edward Nall was just a little tyke and loved playing with Transformers toys. Of course, Optimus Prime was among his favorites. So, for his 30th birthday, Nall decided to transform a bit of himself, legally changing his name to match the action figure.
A couple of years before he left for Iraq in 2003, with Ohio’s 5694th National Guard Unit from Mansfield, he made the switch. While serving the country, he bore his new name proudly on the chest of his uniform.

Last night we opted out of watching fireworks to watch a predicted bomb. Little did we know this little dud was the exact opposite.
Transformers, not to be mixed up with the ’80’s animated “Transformers the Movie“, was quite good. When I first heard that this movie was going to be released I was ecstatic, until some of the Autobot designers were posted on the net. I started to get used to designers, but after watching the bombs that were this summer/spring’s comic based movies I was giving this movie no hope.
To make this post shorter here are some good and bad points from the movie, according to me:
Separated at Birth!

The action was BIG, and so was the smile on this fanboy’s face.
Go see this movie. Like Prime said in both the cartoon and movie: “Autobots roll out!”
