Stars And Garters goes all “Karate Kid” like and Sweeps the Leg to defend his title.

Lots of really cool non-superhero fights this week, but my favorites were: Atomic Robo (because Atomic Robo is cool), Tangent-Joker (for the wonderful shoeprint), and Evil and Malice (because it involved stepping on a chef). But my vote for the top prize goes to Meekrat, because Unca Scrooge kicking Donald is classic and awesome.

Gotta give it to Slay for the Jon Sable kick this week. He not only outclassed me, he out-GRELLed me.

I’d give it to Tangent Joker on principle alone. (Were it not for Tangent Flash, the Joker comics would be my favorite Tangents.) But the kick itself is worthy, if only for “Boot To The Head”. I bet one of her is dating Tangent Chris Sims.

Ooops, forgot to make it official: Crisis on Earth Prime gets my vote.

My vote goes to ShadowWing Tronix. Brutal stuff, and it helps that it’s a Bladerunner comic.

Wooyay! Spacebooger went for my fight this week! I think I’m about to cry with happiness…
Some cool fights as always – ShadowWing Tronix almost gets it for the Bladerunner adaptation (never seen the comic before) but I have to go for Stars and Garters, maybe not for the kick itself but that face-plant just looks sooooo painful!

Many good entries this week, but I’m going with Stars and Garters, and Karate Kid demonstrating why a non-powered brawler was able to run with the big dogs.

Meekrat! I spent too much time browsing duck comics because I wanted to do a duck kick, but you beat me to the punch! (er, kick). Definitely get my vote. All I could come up with was an eagle.

(That above comment was Danny at the Flipside, by the way.)

Stars & Garters. “Put him in a bodybag!”

Hmmm… I have a weakness for puns, so that speaks well for “Crisis on Earth Prime”, but that whole series of Doctor 13 stories from that series brought joy to my heart. “Hero Sandwich” it is.
