AC/DC: “Big Gun“
(the video is a must watch this week – it features Arnold Schwarzenegger)
“Pictures on the TV
Invader man take what he can
Shootout on the silver screen
Sticking ‘em up and knocking ‘em down
Living out a fantasy”
“Along came Mary” with Last week’s winner – Slay, Monstrobot of the Deep.
The new guy Platypus Robot enters the ring with a bang and “Drops A Bomb On Us (Me)!”
The Sock Drawer greets his opponents with a fist to the face and a “Honey I’m Home!”
(I sense a WCA theme this week!)
Hero Sandwich demands some “BadAss” “Respect!”
Stars And Garters “(I) Saw the (Dr.) Light” before he became a laughable villian!
ShadowWing Tronix will hit you so hard you can only be “Saved by Science!”
The only music Fantasy Theater needs is the sound of his fist hitting your face – “Boom Boom!“
and
But Before I Kill You will bust you up so much that you can even see the pain on “The Invisible Man(s)” face!
(not related at all to the image, but it sounded good to me)
Don’t forget to post up a comment voting for the panel with the most pain by Sunday @ 11PM.
All votes will be considered, but in the end I will have the final say. The winner will be announced next Tuesday with the pre-fight rules.
Visitors and guests – please cast your vote too!
West Coast Avengers – #6
Steve Englehart – Story
Al Milgrom & Kyle Baker – Art

I’m a Scud fan, so my vote is for Platypus Robot!

Can’t quite believe it, but I’m voting for Snell for yet another title. Partly for the slugfest, which really is a classic, and partly for his awesome rantage.

Some good ones this week. But the moment I saw a disposable robot assassin, I knew Platypus Robot had my vote.

Slay, Monstrobot scores the trifecta: A classic tune, a brutal beatdown, and white-hot fanboy rage! Bravo!

Hero Sandwich: thanks for introducing me to Empowered. Awesome stuff. Never even knew about it until today, but have read lots of Adam Warren interviews today. Much thanks. I’m going to have to get all five of them.
But my vote goes to:
Alan Moore’s and Kevin O’Neill’s brutal Invisible Man’s slaying of a bobby; it would’ve been better if you’d've included Griffin’s traipsing down the pier and freaking people the f**k out afterwards, but this is one brutal beat down.
My vote to: But Before I Kill You.

My vote goes to Snell for the same reasons as the others who voted for him.
Bonus points to “Before I Kill You” for finding me a new song to add to my favorites, and Platypus Robot for blowing up a dinosaur and showing the video to an all ready added favorite that I hadn’t seen before. (It was trippy.)

Looks like my entry was pretty “Light”-weight in comparison to the others this week. Don’t worry. my next entry will have a lot more…bite.
As much as I enjoyed Fantasy Theater’s combined supergroup of Batman, Neal Adams, and Pat Travers, as well as Slay’s classic Cap vs. Mary fight, I have to give it to the The Sock Drawer.
He had Mockingbird punching Hawkeye so hard his sunglasses completely shattered, in devastating close-up, no less. I even felt that one! Ironic that my entry featured Doctor Light, and now I’m voting for an entry featuring “Doc” Bright.
