Maybe I’m just tired, but this didn’t feel like a very strong showing. Not that my entry would have been any better, which you’ll see next week now that my computer’s (hopefully) working again.
Anyway, Slay Monstrobot eeks out a win with giant flaming turtle. (Sadly, no TMNT or Gamera jokes. That’s just not right.)

I’m gonna throw in my vote for jkcarrier’s baseball-themed show. Good match of fight to music, and it was funny, too.

I have to say, that last panel of our host’s entry did everything for me. Backflipping uppercut kick with BOOM for a sound effect? Excellent.

A villain named Kong and Vigilante slammed to the wall and coming up with a gay 70s disco boot to the crotch?
It should be Kong stuttering instead of Vigilante. I guess Kong speechless.
My vote goes Pulp Hero.
(I have to say, though, Hero Sandwich almost got it with sheer humor. “Robin hits him so hard his heart explodes!” Ha. Ha. Awesome.)

I’ve got to penalize Hero Sandwich here for falsely raising my hopes by titling his post “Explosivo” but then NOT using the aforementioned Tenacious D song as fight music.
Slay almost got my vote with the giant turtle, but I have to vote for our host this week because I’m a sucker for backflipping cat ladies.
By the way, is Round 6 too late to submit a Michael Jackson tribute? I have a great idea involving Grant Morrison.
