    Good lord, even with fewer people spinnin’ wax, this was a good week. Beta Ray Bill, Thor, Devil Dinosaur, Luke Cage vs. Dr. Doom, even Vanilla Ice…

    I’m giving it to jkcarrier for Thor as drawn by Kirby. But if there were ever a week that I wanted to vote for at least four entries at once…

    As much as I want to vote for Luke Cage taking Dr. Doom down a few pegs, Beta Ray Bill does offer more spectacular fireworks. Therefore, “But Before I Kill You” edges out for my vote.

    Oh, man! Klassic Kirby Thor and Queen’s best no-holds-barred song since “We Are The Champions”??!!

    The God of Thunder, the Son of Odin, and an awesome tune like “Hammer to Fall”!!!!

    I know I’ve alreay voted, but I wanted to say:

    It’s kind of cliche, and it’s not really my place to say it, but I think – and Spacebooger, I hope you agree with me – everybody’s a winner (in a sense) this week. This is by far the best set of fights since I’ve been reading them.

    And Fantasy Theater, thanks for the Queen song. I had all but forgotten how good _The Works_ was in 1984. But I’ll know soon. I ordered it again.
