If you watched the video hint from last week, you know what I’m talking about – Fight Music!
Next Friday will be the first round of FNF:G7 where every fighter will have his or her own theme music, or image related lyric, to enhance the entry.
Like the last fight FNF:O.P.P, a winner will be chosen from each round to compete in the Best of the Best prize fight. So start typing and spread the word throughout the whole Comic Blogosphere that FNF: G7 begins next week!
Check back next Tuesday for the complete rules and instructions for the fight.

Wait, what?!? I’m so confused…

Um, I’m with Snell.
You mean throw in a musical YouTube link to go with each entry?
Can we just have fightin’ next time? No crazy limitations, just good ol’ fashioned whuppin’s?

It’s supposed to be slightly confusing until Tuesday but, I will try to clarify:
Every entry must relate in some way to a song or lyric.
Example: “LL Cool J – Mama Said Knock You Out” associated with a KO punch, “Ballroom Blitz” for an image where one person is taking out a whole group, or just using a specific lyric from a song.
Does this make sense?
Does it help?

Scott,
We could have a free for all after FNF:G7
I’ll think about it.

Can I just post a hyperlink to the song in question? I’m having trouble embedding the You-Tube videos directly to my blog (like you did with your two clues).
I’ve got some ideas already. The trick will be finding the scans that I want.

NotInTheFace (and everyone else,)
I will just require a song title and/or a quote from the song. The only requirement is a song that either goes with your image, or one you feel would make a good fighting song. If you want to embed a video or even post a link thats cool. Its up to you. I think once people start this will be fun.

Excellent. I’ve got my first one almost done.
By the way, I second the free-for-all proposal for after this..

Dang it! I could have used my Spidey Super Stories one with “Ring My Bell!” Is repeats allowed?
Also– no puns about “greatest hits” yet?

Danny,
Try not to recycle posts unless you are out of ideas. I was thinking about making the round featuring the winners “Greatest Hits.”
