ShadowWing Tronix starts us off in the rectangular ring with a rock’em sock’em robot.
Random Encounters steps into the ring with his best Bat-Boot.
Hero Sandwich “rocks” the ring with his One Panel of Pain!
Stars And Garters wrecks it in the wilderness!
It’s Clobberin’ Time knows not to lead with your helmet in football, but for Friday Night Fights everything is legal.
Dacakworld reminds you that you can only die once, do you still want to continue?
Slay, Monstrobot of the Deep may like to narrate, but in this fight only one word matters – THWOOM!
999 already knows the fate of his competitors in this fight!
Dem’s Good Readin’ challenges those who rubberneck to enter the ring.
Jotace knows that facial hair may make you look tough, but you need to be able to back it up in the ring.
Johnny Bacardi packs a patented Gill Kane punch in one panel.
Only one week has passed since Valentine’s Day and Roscoe is already breaking hearts – with his bare hands.
Pulp Hero beats down beach bums.
Meekrat will find the kink in any suit of armor you bring into the fight.
The Sock Drawer may “team-up” in the ring, but he needs no partner to deliver One Panel of Pain!
Great Caesar’s Post “punishes” any punks that step into the ring.
Challenge Yet Another Comics Blog and the fight will end with you screaming like a boiling lobster.
Never ask Cry Havok “Why?” unless you don’t plan on asking anything else for a couple weeks.
The ISB will take out not only one, but two challengers and stab them both in the face.
Squash Is The Enemy (not Fantasy Theater – sorry) unleashes every ounce of energy within one panel.
Osukaru & Crisis On Earth Prime brings the one panel of pain that all men fear.
Don’t forget to post up a comment voting for the panel with the most pain by Sunday @ 11PM.
All votes will be considered, but in the end I will have the final say. The winner will be announced next Tuesday with the pre-fight rules.
Visitors and guests – please cast your vote too!

My vote goes to Fantasy Theater.
February 20th, 2009 at 11:25 pm
A bunch of good ones, but I gotta go with Dem’s Good Reading.
February 20th, 2009 at 11:37 pm
The awesomeness of JLA #200 makes me go with Johnny Bacardi.
February 20th, 2009 at 11:53 pm
I believe I gotta go with Slay- Kirby is hard to beat.
February 21st, 2009 at 12:02 am
To me it’s a toss-up between Dem’s stretchy-necked Skrull and Johnny Bacardi’s Atom knocks Hal’s block off.
February 21st, 2009 at 2:07 am
Lot of good ones, but I’m gonna have to give my vote to Slay’s Captain America shot…that guy’d be a deformed vegetable (at best) after that hit.
February 21st, 2009 at 3:52 am
Ooh. Tough call. Think I’m gonna give it to Stars and Garters, because I like seeing Hal Jordan get his clock cleaned.
February 21st, 2009 at 7:42 am
Hey, thanks to the two guys who nominated me. We can’t nominate our own entry can’t we
. In that case, I’ll go for SLAY’s Cap America.
February 21st, 2009 at 8:36 am
I don’t see why you can’t nominate yourself if you honestly feel that it’s better than everyone else’s. It’s not the best thing to do but allowed. All is fair in FNF, so debate argue and try to sway votes.
Oh, and I like mine but I like Stars and Garters’ & Dems Good Readin’s a little better… so it’s a tossup between those two for me.

Ollie smacking Hal just seemed a bit normal in comparison to the Atom. They weren’t in costume, and I have a feeling it’s not the first time one of them introduced a fist to each other’s face. Atom hits harder. Not that it wasn’t fun to watch, though.
February 21st, 2009 at 10:01 am
I’m gonna go with Stars & Garters, cause Ollie went brokeback on Hal and gave it to him real good
February 21st, 2009 at 10:35 am
My vote goes to Osukaru’s, that’s one helluva pain.. We are talking here about PAIN, people. No more FNF!! And a special mention to Jotace, that panel is brilliant in his own absurdity.
February 21st, 2009 at 11:15 am
Of course, this is just the way I see it. I like to be a little bit vehement now and then
February 21st, 2009 at 11:23 am
Tough choice, but I’m going with Fantasy Theater this week. Ulik rules!!
February 21st, 2009 at 2:48 pm
My vote goes to Johnny Bacardi… can’t beat Gil Kane for painful-looking punches!
P.S. It looks like you’ve got russanderson.livejournal.com mixed up with me. I’m “Fantasy Theater”, his blog is called “Squash Is The Enemy”
February 21st, 2009 at 2:57 pm
Ouch… my bad. I’ll fix that right away. The livejournals always catch me off guard. Ill fix it. Thanks.
Now we just need to get Fantasy Theater back in the ring.
February 21st, 2009 at 4:21 pm
I choose… Pulp Hero
February 21st, 2009 at 5:22 pm
I’m gonna have to go with Random Encounters; That batkick looks painful!
February 21st, 2009 at 6:02 pm
My vote is for 999. This is pain!!!!. Someone would like a little slice?
February 21st, 2009 at 7:35 pm
I’m going with Bacardi’s entry because:
a. JLA#200 was awesome
b. it’s a great Gil Kane drawing
c. it features the Atom
but mostly
d. I love some good Hal Jordan chin music as much as Josh does.
February 21st, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Aside from my own, of course, I’ll go with Slay’s. Cap just knocked a dude 15 feet in the air with a double uppercut, including an unbreakable shield on one arm. GOT to be the most painful. Outside of getting pimp hand by the Hulk, that is.
February 22nd, 2009 at 12:07 pm
I’ve gotta cast my vote for Crisis on Earth Prime’s presentation of Martha Washington’s nasty kick to the groin. It hurts just looking at that panel.
February 22nd, 2009 at 2:08 pm
Star and Garters for me too!
February 22nd, 2009 at 2:33 pm
I’m backing Johnny B’s Gil Kane OPP this week!
