WebComic: Earth-R.I.P.

Today’s webcomic expresses my confusion with the whole continuity of comic books.

Last week we saw a crazy Bruce Wayne running around in a yellow, green, and purple Batsuit with the promise of the conclusion of Batman R.I.P. in Batman #681.

This week, today to be exact, I read the newest issue of Detective Comics which is also, according to the cover, is a Batman R.I.P. tie-in, yet Batman is sane and wearing his normal costume… and I am confused on how this ties together…

I do have an idea on how these two could connect:

*spoiler warning*
 With Hush surgically changing his face to look like Bruce Wayne with intent to kill him and shut down the “Bat Family” may be a clue as of why Bruce supposedly will not be Batman after the conclusion of R.I.P.

Edit: Someone on the message board over at comicbookresources.com informed me that the Heart of Hush story that takes place in Detective Comics happens before the main R.I.P. story in Batman’s self titled book.
