Did you forget at this time last year World War III began?

On April 18, 2007 the world’s super-heroes went to war with Black Adam.

In issue #50 of DC Comic’s weekly series 52 Black Adam ran, flew, rampaged the planet with death and destruction in retaliation of the death/murder of his wife and family.

Many of the changes to DC Comic’s One Year Later storyline was described within this mini series. During World War III Dona Troy taking the mantle of Wonder Woman, Aquaman makes a deal with the Gods to raise the sunken town of Sub Diego leaving him the disfigured Dweller of the Deep, and the Martian Manhunter changes his wardrobe and attitude after peering into Black Adam’s mind.

The newly introduced Chineese super-heroes, the Great Ten, hold off Black Adam long enough for the JSA and J’onn to stop him. The war ended with Captain Marvel changing the magic word that gives Teth-Adam the power of Black Adam.
