Michael at The Legion Omnicom has an update on the lawsuit over the rights of Superboy.
For those who do not know Siegel and Shuster’s families are suing DC comics over the rights to the character Superboy. DC claims that since they purchased the rights to Superman the character Superboy should be theirs as well.
It all boils down to whether or not it can be proved by the end of the month that Superboy is derivative of Superman or an original creation by Siegel and Shuster. Go check out The Legion Omnicom for the full story, copy of the appeal, and other Legion of Super-Heroes goodies.

The guy who runs Pittsburgh’s Comic Con and owner of Comics World store has been arrested for murdering his wife 17 years ago.
17 years ago Michael George’s wife was murdered in his Michigan Comic World store while closing up for the night. The murder looked like a robbery that went bad. Leaving the memories behind George moved his shop to Pittsburgh, PA where he and his new wife run the Pittsburgh Comic Con. According to the article the reason for reopening the murder case after 17 years is unknown at this time.
My buddy Nick created this petition in attempt to lure Brady Quinn to Cleveland Browns training camp while negotiating his contract.
We all know that these petitions don’t necessarily work, but maybe someone will notice the support for cause.
So please, if you care about the Cleveland Browns or football in general, click the link and place you digital John Hancock on the petition.
*EDIT 1:10pm
“Brady Quinn has agreed to a five-year contact with the Cleveland Browns worth $20.2 million, with $7.75 million guaranteed, ending his holdout.”
